Hi my name is Trisha Matthews and I run a large family childcare offering a fun place for children of parents who desire an in-home, loving and safe environment, with warm personalized care for, ages six weeks to twelve years.

     My career choice was and important one and I can’t see myself doing anything else. My days with the children brings me endless joy and I hope coming to my home brings joy and I make a difference in every child’s life that comes here. I want the kids to remember Ms Trisha’s as a fun place to come and play where they learned lots and received oodles of love.

     My practice is to allow children to develop at the pace that is relaxed and comfortable for them, and to offer them support and encouragement throughout their learning process. I try to adjust my daily activities to fit each child’s stage of development.

     I believe immensely in the power of learning through play; so there is always abundant time for free play in addition to our thematic preschool curriculum.

     At all times, differences in the rate of maturation, interest, personality and cultural diversity are respected.

     I believe that throughout the day a child needs to experience lots of nurturing, laughing, smiling, and conversation.
